Reported by Ree, “The (Ree)lationship Guide”
In a January 2017 interview with Wendy Williams, actress Vivica A. Fox poured her heart out over the topic of the more than a decade-old beef with her famous ex-boyfriend 50 Cent.
The ex-lovers started their relationship in 2013. Although some reports claim 50 Cent confirmed they parted ways in 2009, their public feud started as early as 2005 during Vivica’s interview on the “The Tyra Banks Show,” when she accused 50 Cent of making her appear to be a villain. This accusation spiraled into an ongoing back and forth between the couple that has led to 50 Cent dissing Vivica’s boob job and Vivica alleging the G-Unit rapper is gay.
It almost seems as though the jilted exes took pleasure in throwing virtual jabs at one another via social media; however, Vivica claims she approached 50 Cent at a New York Knicks game and spoke with him for several minutes to put an end to the ongoing drama.
Portions of the interview are transcribed below:
I walked right to him. It is so time for this to be over with, as far as beefing back and forth. I walked over to him and said, ’Happy New Year.’ He was with some guys, I don’t remember them… No fans, no cameras, no nothing. Someone has to be the bigger person. We sat, I gave him a hug, we talked for a few minutes and that was that. It was about five or so [minutes]… I know you guys don’t know but I will always have love for him. As much as we’ve been through, I will always have love for him. He was literally like my true love and I hated that we had to – he was, you guys, and I hated to have to beef with him but I don’t let nobody mess with me, I ain’t no punk and y’all know that… And I told him last night, I’ll always love him. We’re not meant to be together but I’ll always have love for him.
